What is meant by Hypermetropia (farsightedness)?
Hypermetropia eye disease is an eye defect caused by the lens of the eye being too selective so that the image falls behind the yellow spot. Hypermetropia is also called nearsightedness because you cannot see objects at close range. Hypermetropia sufferers are usually experienced in older people, where hypermetropia sufferers can see clearly at long distances, but have difficulty seeing objects at close distances, hypermetropia sufferers wear glasses with convex lenses.
