On May 12, 2024, we visited Purwoasri Park, Purwoasri Park is a new public place built by the Kediri district government in 2023, previously Purwoasri Park was the Purwoasri terminal which was quiet because buses were rarely available to enter the terminal area.

In Purwoasri Park You can see miniatures of the Gadang clock, Monas, Minangkabau traditional houses, and various other miniatures. In Purwoasri Park you can also climb the large and bold red bridge that divides Purwoasri Park.
Children will enjoy playing in Purwoasri Park because there are various rides such as swings, agility, see-saws, slides, electric bicycles that can be rented, and a large park for running and playing with their peers. The children’s play area or playground is equipped with a grass blanket of a suitable height so that it is comfortable for children to play.
However, you have to supervise your child when playing games, such as playing on a seesaw, for example, if your child doesn’t hold on well, he or she could fall to the left or right side. In Purwoasri Park in the south, there are sellers of snacks such as meatballs, bread, noodles, ice, and others. Regarding the price, God willing, the price is affordable for the people of Kediri and its surroundings.

We feel that a Purwoasri park is good as a public area for children and adults to gather in a clean and decent place. We hope more parks like this will be built in the Kediri district or East Java province.

How to visit Purwoasri Park?
You can visit the Purwoasri park which is still on one bus route to Kertosono, the location is right at the Purwoasri terminal, or before the Purwoasri bridge from the south there is an old park building.
