(8) وَاِنَّا لَجٰعِلُوۡنَ مَا عَلَيۡهَا صَعِيۡدًا جُرُزًا
Latin Inscription : wa inna lajaa’iluuna ma ‘alaiha sho’idan juruzan
Translation from sahih international : And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into] a barren ground. (Al Qur’an Surah Al Kahf verse 8)
Tafseer Al Qur’an Surah Al Kahf verse 8 According to the book Tafsir Jalalain
وَاِنَّا لَجٰعِلُوۡنَ مَا عَلَيۡهَا صَعِيۡدًا (And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into]) even with the ground – جُرُزً ا(a barren ground) dry and infertile.
Notes :
Surah al Kahf consists of 110 verses and Surah al Kahf includes the Makkiyyah surah. namely, the letter revealed by Allah SWT to the Prophet Muhammad SAW when the Prophet was still preaching in Mecca. Al-Kahf means Cave and Ashhabul Kahf means Cave Dwellers. The name of this Surah is taken from the story contained in this surah in verses 9 to 26, about several young men who slept in a cave for hundreds of years. until the period of leadership has changed from a docile leader to a just leader.
