(7)اِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا مَا عَلَى الۡاَرۡضِ زِيۡنَةً لَّهَا لِنَبۡلُوَهُمۡ اَ يُّهُمۡ اَحۡسَنُ عَمَلًا
Latin Inscription : inna ja’alna ma ‘alal ardhi zinatan laha linabluwahum ayyuhum akhsanu ‘amalan
Translation from sahih international : Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed. (Al Qur’an Surah Al Kahf Verse 7)
Tafseer Al Qur’an Surah Al Kahf Verse 7 According to the book Tafsir Jalalain
اِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا مَا عَلَى الۡاَرۡضِ (Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth) in the form of animals, plants, trees, rivers and so on – زِيۡنَةً لَّ هَا لِنَبۡلُوَهُمۡ (adornment for it that We may test them) so that we test people while paying attention in This is – اَ يُّهُمۡ اَحۡسَنُ عَمَلًا ([as to] which of them is best in deed) in this world which is meant is who is more devout/shuns the world.
