وَكَذٰلِكَ اَعۡثَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ لِيَـعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ وَّاَنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيۡهَا ۚ اِذۡ يَتَـنَازَعُوۡنَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ اَمۡرَهُمۡفَقَالُوۡا ابۡنُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمۡ بُنۡيَانًـا ؕ رَبُّهُمۡ اَعۡلَمُ بِهِمۡؕ قَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ غَلَبُوۡا عَلٰٓى اَمۡرِهِمۡ لَـنَـتَّخِذَنَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مَّسۡجِدًا (21)
Latin Inscription : wa kadzalika a’tsarna ‘alaihim liya’lamuu anna wa’dallahi khaqqo wa annas sa’ata la roiba fiha idz yatana za’uuna bainahum amrohum faqolubnu ‘alaihim bunyanan robbuhum a’lamu bihim qo la alladzina gholabuu ‘alaa amrihim lanattakhidzanna ‘alaihim masjidan
Translation from Sahih International : And similarly, We caused them to be found that they [who found them] would know that the promise of Allah is truth and that of the Hour there is no doubt. [That was] when they disputed among themselves about their affair and [then] said, “Construct over them a structure. Their Lord is most knowing about them.” Said those who prevailed in the matter, “We will surely take [for ourselves] over them a masjid.” (Al-Kahf verse 21)
Tafseer Al Qur’an Surah Al Kahf Verse 21 According to the book Tafsir Jalalain:
وَكَذٰلِكَ (And similarly) as We awakened them – اَعۡثَرۡنَا (We caused)- عَلَيۡهِمۡ( them to be) namely the Ashabul Kahf and the Believers in general – لِيَـعۡلَموۡۤا (that they [who found them] would know) means specifically for the Ashabul Kahf – اَنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰهِ (that the promise of Allah) namely the existence of the Day of Resurrection- حَقٌّ (is truth) with the conclusion that Allah Almighty kills them for a very long time, then they remain intact even without eating and drinking then He is Almighty in the way of bringing dead people back to life- وَّاَنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيۡهَا ۚ (and that of the Hour there is no doubt.)- فِيۡهَا ۚ اِذۡ (to him when) lafa This dz becomes Prosperous from lafadz a’sarna- يَتَـنَازَعُوۡنَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ (those people are at odds) the believers and the people infidels- اَمۡرَهُمۡ( Construct over them) meaning regarding the matters of the youth regarding the building that will be erected around the place of Ashabul Kahf- فَقَالُوۡا (the people said) namely the infidels- ابۡنُوۡا عَلَيۡهمۡ (Erect above their cave) around their place- بُنۡيَانًـا (a building) to cover them- رَبُّهُمۡ اَعۡلَمُ بِهِمۡؕ قَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ غلَبُوۡا عَلٰٓى اَمۡرِهِمۡ (Their Lord is most knowing about them, Said those who prevailed in the matter) what is meant is the one who controls the affairs of these young people, namely those who believe- لَـنَـتَّخِذَنَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ (We will surely take [for ourselves] over them), namely around it- مَّسۡجِدًا(a masjid) where people pray, finally a house of worship was built at the entrance of the cave that.
