When we copy a document from a co-worker, we may want to remove the header design that sits on top of the paper so that we can edit and add a new header design to suit our needs.
Here are two ways to easily remove headers in Microsoft Word 2021
The first way to remove headers in Microsoft Word 2021
- Click twice on the header that is above your document
- Select all documents that are in the header section
- Click backspace or delete on your keyboard
Then all the designs or writing contained in the header will disappear.
The second way to remove headers in Microsoft Word 2021
- Click the inserts tab
- Click the header menu in the header and footer section,
- Click remove headers
