What is meant by indentation?
According to the site id.wikipedia.org, indentation means writing paragraphs that are slightly indented. Indentation is usually used to make writing more indented.
Example sentences as below:
This example sentence is written with left alignment.
: This example sentence is rather indented.
:: This example sentence is even more indented.
Then it will look like this:
This example sentence is written with left alignment
This example sentence is indented.
This example sentence is even more indented.
How to set Indents in paragraphs in ms word 2021?
There are three ways to set indents in paragraphs in MS Word 2021. The first way to set indents in MS Word 2021
- Select the text in the paragraph that will be indented
- Click decrease or increase on the paragraph menu to adjust the indentation of your writing, as shown in the image above.
The second way to set indents in paragraphs
This second method is suitable for adjusting the indentation of your writing paragraphs by entering input numbers. So you can change how much of the writing is in the indented paragraph. The second way to set indents in paragraphs in MS Word 2021 is as follows.
- Click the layouts tab.
- Select the text in the paragraph that will be indented
- On the indent menu in the paragraph, click on the left, and enter the number you want to be indented. As shown in the image above.
The third way to set indents in paragraphs
The third way to set indentation in paragraphs in MS Word 2021 is as follows.
- Select the text you want to set the indentation for
- Slide the opposite triangle on the ruler to adjust the indentation, as shown in the image above.
